The Common Citizens' Voting Guide

Democracy in Election Process and the Respect for Mother Nature Committee of Washington finally got tired of seeing all of these fake progressive voting guides on the internet and decided to create a reliable one.  We will only endorse real economic or environmental progressives, not Democratic Party hacks, "Boll Weevils" and "Blue Dogs."  In fact, we prefer third parties or independents over those who identify with major parties, but sometimes that option is just not available because of the dearth of alternative candidates, so we consider all parties for our picks.  This blog was created on August 1, 2014, and our first official election endorsement is, as follows:

Endorsement for November 4, 2014 General Election

Ashley McCormick (Citizens) (write-in), U.S. Representative, Congressional District 9

Amiable Follower

Lydia Assefa-Dawson has an amiable personality and is a good fit for her non-political work in the social services field, but Federal Way citizens might want to reevaluate whether she should remain on the Federal Way City Council that she was appointed to, when the November 3rd election comes around. In her year and a half on the Council, she has not taken a single initiative of anything of significance relating to her position on the Council. Journalism has to be the most difficult of wo...

No Endorsement for Lydia Assefa-Dawson By Her Party District

The 30th District Democratic Party website has no endorsements for Federal Way City Council this General Election, including none for alleged Democrat, "Republican-esque" Lydia Assefa-Dawson, who endorsed Teri Hickel (R) for State Representative.   Mark Greene  (Revived Citizens Party), the challenger for Assefa-Dawson's FW City Council seat, is supporting the "30th's" endorsed candidate for State Representative, Carol Gregory (D), however. Note:   The Mark Greene for City Council campaign asks you to spread the word about this and the previous couple of posts on this blog.  Thank you!

Lt. Governor Candidate Mark Greene's America-centric Speech

TVW Publishes On-line Video Voters' Guide   Please, watch the assertive and patriotic speech by Mark Greene, candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Washington, from the America-centric Revived Citizens Party, standing up for American & Washingtonian values, and against the corporate behemoth that is busily swallowing up the pocketbooks of American commoners & environmentally-conscious values: http://www.tvw.org/video-voters-guide/   (on the Lieutenant Governor section).   Thank you!
