America-Centric Progressive-Conservative

The title of this blog is changing to "America-Centric Progressive-Conservative," which believes in a fair economic system for all citizens, keeping our valued American traditions, ensuring that citizens have first priority for all jobs over all others in their own country, and understanding that the Statue of Liberty does not mean globalization, as internationalism has gone overboard, the nation-state system should always be kept in place.  Lady Liberty basically means liberty and justice for all.

  1. Pogo's Maxim -- November 9, 2012

The old cartoon character, Pogo, is famous for saying, "I have met the enemy, and it is I." Something Rush Limbaugh should have considered before he started blaming just Democrats for mass immigration to America on his radio program the other day. The 1965 Immigration Act, which is the vehicle that mass immigration has ridden on for the last few decades, had overwhelming Congressional support, including considerable Republican support that year, and even today, Corporate Republicans and Corporate Independents, such as that odious New York mayor, Michael Bloomberg, support mass immigration as much as Democrats, probably even more so. It was relatively easy for native-born Americans to find jobs in the 1950's, 60's and 70's until Congress opened the floodgates in '65 (the real effects of which took place about fifteen years later) and started letting the whole world settle in America. As if it wasn't bad enough to exacerbate unemployment, why would any country want their whole character to inevitably change through mass immigration? Well, practically every country in the world besides America doesn't, including Mexico, which has very strict immigration laws; they probably laugh at America. The Immigration Act is as preposterous a policy today as it was in 1965, but it's still not too late to shut the gates, although unlikely, with Obama & the Social Liberals getting a fresh heyday from the recent vote. Still, House Republicans, who thankfully stopped the social liberals from entirely controlling the 113th Congress, should send up bills to at least stop the "green card" lottery. They should also try to roll back the 1965 Immigration Act even though that would probably be a harder sell in this social liberal atmosphere than just stopping the "green card" lottery, but we believe that just trying would gain them significant support in the next Mid-term Elections (2014). By the way, it seems that Limbaugh supports the same Corporate Republicans, a la Mitt Romney, that support mass immigration, yet he complains about this subject. If he happens to care not for maxims from cartoon characters, maybe he should consider the general advice of ex-presidential candidate, Herman Cain, "Blame thyself."

Carol Gregory For Representative and Greene For Council

Please, vote for Carol Gregory (D) for State Representative, and Mark Greene (Revived Citizens Party) for Federal Way City Council, Position #1.  Both Gregory and Greene, commoners themselves, will work in the interests of the Common Man.   Greene's opponent, "Republican-esque" Lydia Assefa-Dawson, is endorsing Hickel (R) for State Rep. Possible Candidate for Vacant 30th District Seat

Remembering Roger Freeman: 1965 - 2014 Now that the memorial for Roger Freeman, the deceased, widely respected state representative of the 30th District, transpired a week ago, discussions about who will fill the vacant 30th District representative seat will be going forward in full swing.  First, there will be an appointment to fill the vacancy, but there also has to be an election in November of 2015.  The Revived Citizens Party has come close to recruiting a young, politically active woman to run for the seat next year, but there is no firm decision, yet, as of Nov. 30, 2014.   For now, we will keep her name under the radar until she makes an announcement, but her possible advancement into elective politics as a third party candidate would surely be a welcome change from the corporate-shilling, anti-union "Democratic-Republican Party."  For decades, now, the shift of wealth from the lower and middle cl...
