No Endorsement for Lydia Assefa-Dawson By Her Party District

The 30th District Democratic Party website has no endorsements for Federal Way City Council this General Election, including none for alleged Democrat, "Republican-esque" Lydia Assefa-Dawson, who endorsed Teri Hickel (R) for State Representative. Mark Greene (Revived Citizens Party), the challenger for Assefa-Dawson's FW City Council seat, is supporting the "30th's" endorsed candidate for State Representative, Carol Gregory (D), however.

Third Party Dilemma

Tweedle-dum or tweedle-dee, or pure idealism, or just plain idealism? It never ceases to amaze us how America, of all nations, is so reluctant to do something as minimal as peacefully and civilly announcing a "pox on both their houses" when it comes to the pretty much corrupt major political parties, here, and merely vote for virtually anything that says I'm not a part of them, meaning whatever available third parties and independents there are. Yet, third parties do dreadfully poorly as voters willfully play musical chairs between the Democrats and the Republicans, and therein goes the puzzle inside the dilemma. America-Centric Progressive-Conservative

The title of this blog is changing to "America-Centric Progressive-Conservative," which believes in a fair economic system for all citizens, keeping our valued American traditions, ensuring that citizens have first priority for all jobs over all others in their own country, and understanding that the Statue of Liberty does not mean globalization, as internationalism has gone overboard, the nation-state system should always be kept in place. The Environment & Federal Way

If elected to Council, I will propose an Environmental Mapping Project, maybe with a different name but the same effect, as this will put increased focus on Federal Way's environmental standards, including the quality of water, sewer and storm drainage infrastructure, littering and graffiti problems, contingency plans for natural disasters, and so forth. The list, of course, could be in the scores, but you get the idea. My plan will include putting this new agency under an existing commission, or perhaps making it a separate commission unto itself, and dividing Federal Way into 20-or-so equal geographical areas, not divided evenly by population, but by square mileage or some other spatial measure.
